Do you have any pics of the rifle without the magazine?

Did that gun hang in a bar? Near a fireplace? might have years worth of smoke and cooking grease layered onto it.

I finally got it all cleaned up. I made a soaking tube out of PVC pipe capped on the end and soaked the barrel breech-end down in mineral spirits, and also soaked every other part in mineral spirits. I cleaned it all up with CLP. I repaired a crack in the stock with epoxy, then gave the wood a light cleaning to remove the gunk. I'm applying boiled linseed oil daily. The bore looks good, no rust on any metal, everything seems to function. There are two spots in the stock where holes were drilled right through to hang it on a wall, making a total of 4 holes that I'll probably cover with brass washers and screws to make them look like reinforcement or whatever.
Still debating whether to shoot it or not (I have to get dies and brass). Good Xmass presents.
