    Gfla 450 bushmaster today

I was burning some rounds today and I remembered that my bushmaster gfla upper gets no love at all these days. Hornady brass and cci mil spec mag primers w a accurate mold 275 gr powder coated then gas checked I shot 50 and 100 yards.

40 gr imr 4198 50 yards 1 inch 5 shot repeatable over and over
    40 gr imr 4198 100 yards 2 inch, 1 3/4 inch, 2 1/4 inch groups

I’m getting some residues that are hard to patch out but even then I shot 50 rounds today and the fouling did nothing to deminish the accuracy

You might try patches with Acetone or Ed's Red solvent. I get crud like that when the Boolits are not baked enough. One or the other softens the crud.

I’m believing these bullets may not have been cooked long enough. I rebaked the rest of my stash w another coat.

Turns out that it’s not cure problems. I’m prob at the bullets capabilities but durring my retesting today I can deal w the bullets fouling gradually in my barrel. I was 1 inching and 1 1/2 inching again. Real good shooting gun. 1-24 inch twist rate 275 gr bullet 40 gr imr 4198
