It was muzzleloader doe only season here recently and i went out back for a walk with my .50cal inline. About 10 minutes in i came across a real muddy area of the path which was a problem cause i was wearing thin running shoes since it wasnt cold out. So im looking down trying to formulate a path that dont involve wet feet, when i checked to my left i notcied a doe standing there thinking 'why is that guy staring at a mud puddle'. So i proceded to unsling my rifle and put one centerline in the throat since it was straight at me. It dropped and was a clean shot, ethical and meat wise. When i got up to it first thing i noticed was a bulge on the back, on top of the last rib. So i felt it and it was the bullet trying to exit. Heres a photo of the projectile, its a lee 250gr REAL i think their muzzleloader bullets are called, alox lube is still visible in the grove and its certified pure lead at 1400 or so.
