This little jewel found it's way to my collection this week. K-Bar Rifle Knife from 1979-1981 period. It's a small knife designed as a patch knife for black powder round ball shooters.
I've never seen one before. How long is the blade, and OAL?
The blade is 3.75", over all is 7.75".
Unfortunately the sheath is missing, though that is not the end of the world. I got it to go with then Lyman Plains rifle that also followed me home.
I see 2 for sale on EBay. Interesting knife. I'd like to find one locally.
One of those is what caught my attention. The 90.00 asking price was a bit steep, though it is a nice knife. I got this one from eBay for much, much less.
I've added it to my saved searches on EBay. The $60.00 one has been sold, and I'm not in for the $95.00 one. I'll see what pops up over time.
