    Bushnell scope mount for vintage TC barrel

    I have seen this one piece mounted with the mount flush with the barrel and frame or with the mount forward but the rear of the scope is mostly unsupported.
    Which is the more correct position?

    I believe you mount them any way you want to get the focal distance closest to where you want it.
