    Shooters World Buffalo

My go to cast boolit rifle powder is A5744 and has been so for a long time. I use it in 30-06 , 30/40 Krag , 8x57 , 8x56R and 7.5x55 . I was able to get 4 one pound containers on closeout some place a few years back for $25.00 each out the door . Now I'm out and thinking about Shooters World Buffalo. Anybody tried this in place of your A5744 recipes ? How close or not is it ? How were your results ?

I bought it and started using it for that reason. I have never used 5744 though. It works in my 260 Rem. I am happy with it and will eventually try it in all my calibers.

It is actually Lovex D060-01. Quick loads has Lovex D060. They give equal numbers in Quick loads for the same charge. But theory and reality sometimes differ.

I use 5744 for several cast lead and plated loads. But the price of 5744 is nuts. I am going to test buffalo rifle powder this winter to see how it shoot.
