A YouTube video for those interested in the 9X39 coming to the US

Here is an old thread on it:

    http://castboolits.gunloads.com/show...al-9x39/page2&

And here is video posted from some shoot down in Georgia:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WboIXXvY3zc

fast forward to about the 2 minute mark.

Language may Not be Suitable For Work...just an FYI...

I think Wolf or Piedmont cartridge is working on making AR uppers for it.

Since it is such a fat, slow round...subsonic...used by the Speznatz, it would be ideal for casting heavy boolits for it.

EDIT: here is a Larry Vickers video on the "AK-9" also:

Interesting , but the odd size bullet just kills it for me . Make it
True 35 cal (.358) it be mo better . A ruger mini 35 has a nice ring to it with the availibity to load anything from a95 gr up to say 250-280 gr bullet . Basicly be a 357 max in semi auto platform .
If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck!

Like RU shooter, I have an issue with the bullet size. .356" is fine for handguns where there are plenty of bullets available, but I don't think I've ever seen a 9mm bullet that was over 147-158gr, let alone a 259gr bullet like the 9x39 uses.

35 cal would definitely be better for an American market. The bullets and the molds are already out there, and they're plentiful.
