    my RPR and my Browning eclipse hunter both in 308 have been good to me this year

    the rpr did its think in Illinois and ohio this year then the browning took over in ga.so farClick image for larger version.

    yes sir I love the thumbhole and it is lite,ive owned it for a few years and wouldn't shoot it because that boss system would blow your ear drums out,so I removed it this year and put thread savers on it and now its my go to gun

    I totally agree about boss/muzzle breaks- I won't have one.

    I am assuming the rpr is a Ruger Precision Rifle. If that is not correct then please correct me.
    I just checked the ILDNR hunting regulations and it is NOT legal to use centerfire rifle in Illinois for deer hunting..
    How did you manage that without getting arrested?

    lol it was legal where I was at and yes its a ruger precision rifle
