Well, I just moved to a different town for a year of internship and got my new range membership/access card in the mail today. I went out to check out the range with my .357 Max Encore and .30-06 FWT Classic, shooting cast boolits in each. It was the first run for cast boolits in the 06 and my previous experience with cast boolits in the .357 max hadn't been great. I started running various loads of RCBS 30-150-SP boolits downrange from the 06 and it was going fairly well, a couple loads around 1 1/2" at 100 yds. Then I put in the Unique loads. The 13 gr and 14gr Unique loads shot four shot groups with no spaces between the holes! Sub 1/2" MOA with either load. I have no idea of velocity, I worry about that after I find a good shooting load. The .357 Max with 215 gr. 358627 GB Lee imitation boolits shot 1 1/2" 6 shot group at 100 yds, and I have zero complaints. And as a bonus, I decided to check out the berms for surface range lead and walked off with about 30 pounds of range lead!
