Proven 10mm loads using Blue Dot

Picked up some commercial 175gr LSWC to play with while I cast up some 180/200gr WFN Boolits. Anyone have proven loads or load advice using Blue Dot? I’ve got a 5# jug I’d like to use up. The commercial bullets are whatever brand Dillon had for sale when I ordered some other things. I’ll be shooting them in a Glock 20, P220 hunter and XD 5.25.

10mm with Blue Dot likes longer barrels. I used mine in my Glock 20 but They preferred my Contender with a 10 inch barrel. In the Contender the loads would pick up a lot more fps. Great loads but be aware that the powder is a bit slow for short barrels. It's been to long for me to still have the exact charge i used behind some 180 gold dots but they were nice heavy loads.

I've never used it but the guys over at the 10mm forum swear by 10.4gr of boudoir with a 175-180gr bullet. As always start low work up but I'm sure you do that

I liked 10 grains with 180 grain TC bullet, didn't have a need to go higher. I also remember 10.4 grains with a 180 grain XTP. Bluedot is the perfect full power 10mm powder.

Out of all my loads from start to max, the one with 10gr BD was the most consistent accuracy wise in 3 of my 10mm (G20, P220 and XDM)

osteodoc08, how do you like the grip? I am looking at the xdm 10mm but can't find one around to test the grip. I really like the xds mod-2 grip or the S&W M&P 45c grip. Are they even close? Thanks and good luck with yours.

It feels the same size as an XDM45 to me. I like it better than my G20 but the Sig P220 has both beat as far as feel goes. My G20 is still my go to back pack handgun for now. That may change.

Thanks for the info. Kinda rough when you have to buy one without being able to even hold one.
