Johnson Wax

As this is almost unavailable , has anyone ever found out the composition,ingredients etc, a suitable substitute? I don’t believe it was available in AU.May have been many moons ago not sure. Would like to make some 45.45.10.I am using LLA diluted with gum terps,with some success. I shoot .303,308,218Bee.

This means that the surface has an added level of protection, and also has the shine that helps the surface look its best. It can also be used as a binder that holds a product's ingredients together. Paraffin is a blend of waxes that is used to form a candle and that provides fuel for the candle as it burns. Paraffin is one of the most plentiful and commonly used waxes today. It can also be found in a wide array of products from lipsticks to eye makeup to baby products. In household products, we use paraffin as a film former to create a protective coating or shine on a surface.

If Johnson's is not available, I suspect there is a similar product available in Australia, I have both Johnson's and Trewax brand wax I can't see a lot of difference between the two. I've also used the Minwax brand over the years, again a very similar product. There is also one called Briwax, I have never used it, but from the description may be very similar.

Do a search for paste furniture wax with carnauba wax.
