For me, a roll crimp is by far the easiest way to crimp a trimmed hull and I have several roll crimping devices of different designs and gauges. As reloading is my hobby and I enjoy the time spent in the endeavor the time spent trimming even cheap cases is worthwhile. I have the BPI guide to loading shortened hulls and it gives data for loading shells down to 2" in length. As is usual with BPI data it leans heavily toward the use of products available through their site and it's pretty stingy with data for the common Winchester, Remington and Federal hulls. That said, I do feel it is a valuable source of information and can easily double the life of a hull. With all this in mind, I find this little trimmer to be a handy tool indeed. Gp

I'm sending you a Lyman EZY trimmer, it has a 12 gauge mandrel with it, you should be able to have a 20 gauge mandrel made.

You can easily judge the character of others by how they treat those who they think can do nothing for them.

Thanks Scott. I'm always glad to add a "Vintage" tool to my accumulation. I saw an ebay add the other day offering a "Vintage" Lee Challenger Press. LOL Does that word get used to death or what? Anyway, the Easy Trim will be nice to have. Thanks again. Gp

"Vintage" is a euphemism for "buy this"

It's a euphemism for old and poorly maintained but I want to sell it for as close to new price as I can.
