    Redfield peep sight

I just recently bought an older peep sight from another forum member. He DID state that it was missing one of the side elevation screws. I've searched everywhere I can think of for a replacement with no luck. According to my gunsmith, it is a #56 thread and appears to be about 1/8" in length. Does anybody have an idea where I can find such a beast?
Thanks in advance for any help or advice.

Brownell's.The only 56 thread screw I ever run across was 3-56 for shotgun bead sights. Nevertheless, Brownells does list two 56 thread screws, 2-56 (#080 050-256), and 3-56 (#080 050 356), page 179 their latest catalog. Good luck.

I sell 2-56 and 3-56 and both are 7/8" long. Measure the diameter of the other side elevation screw and PM me the results. Send me a SASE with 62¢ postage on it, and I'll send you a 7/8" screw for free. They're easy to cut to length.

is that the screw that goes through the locking washer? The washer has a bevel in one edge.

2-56 screws are commonly used by hobbyists in model railroading and electronics. Radio Shack or some other similar supplier generally stock them.
