Every time I go to Savannah, especially if I'm going to the south side, I take hwy 204. The reason is that a floor covering store on that route flies a huge (I think 30x50 ft.) American flag, and it's on a tall enough pole that it gets a lot of breeze a lower flying flag might not. That thing is SO inspirational when the breeze has it billowing proudly over all! It literally gets my endorphins running. I need to stop some time and put a donation in to help keep it flying. What a beautiful sight it is!

One of the most beautiful things I've ever seen is the US flag waving in the breeze.

When I lived in western WY there was a huge flag in Rock Springs you could see from 8-10 miles away. It was beautiful to watch in the wind.

This is a massive understatement. Doctors and lawyers in those countries give up their jobs to come here and become a citizen. They literally give up everything because they know a better life is in this country.

And since this thread is about flags. The US is the only country where you see people flying flags all over. In foreign counties the flags are few and far between. I won’t question their patriotism. They just don’t show it same way we do.
