38-55 HiWall -- Heavy bullets -- Black Powder

For those who think 18:1 is too slow for BP

Bullet length: 1.18" (Blow Tube between shots)

325gr/Tom Ellis/Accurate Molds (another one ordered on Saturday/Arrived in Thursday/Cast on Friday/Shot on Saturday)

post: I lied on the velocity list at top of gong:
QL predicted 1,155fps from an earlier/lower trial from which I'd tweaked the Miller K-factor for Swiss 1.5
LABRADAR showed actual to be 1,159fps

Yup! Pet load for my Uberti Highwall is a 305 grainer (from an old, old NEI mold) over 21.5 gr. H4198 in Starline brass. Off sandbags, 2 MOA 10-shot groups are ho-hum routine out to 300 yards.
