    Beretta APX-A1

Not a cast bullet question. For a friend that needs lots and lots of practice. I am trying to find a pistol similar enough to the above but in .22LR my friend and his wife can get the copious trigger time they need without burning through $$ of 9mm. Beretta does not make a .22LR version of the APX- A1 nor a .22LR change-over. Ruger's LCP II Lite is sorta close, sorta not.

The LCP II is a really sweet pistol. I love mine and feed it Aguila Interceptors which clock an honest 1000 fps out of it and are centerfire reliable. That being said, it's nothing like the APX. Alot smaller and the trigger has a totally different feel. May want to consider a Glock 44 or S&W M&P .22, those will be alot closer in size and feel.

Thanks, FergusonTO35. I will look into both.

I've bought a '47 2N in '93 when I didn't "need" a tractor. When I really did need one I looked in vain for a 135 diesel, settled for an 885 David Brown.

You got it! My Fergie is a 1955 model, also have a 165 diesel purchased new by my grandfather in 1970.
