    Cool Pedersoli 1874 Sharps Target Rifle ?

    Hi Guys, I have been using paper patched bullets in my Pedersoli Gibbs rifle and my Parker Hale Volunteer (Rigby Rifled) for a few months and that is working well. So well in fact, I ordered a Pedersoli 1874 Sharps Target Rifle in 45/70 from DGW. I have got to ask, does this rifle shoot well with paper patched bullet as it came from the factory or must the gun be modified ?

    no modification to the gun will be required. it'll work just fine for PPB cartridges ... or lubed bullet cartridges. you didn't mention the powder you'd use, i hope it's real black powder.
