Now that’s what I call a real gun!
What caliber? Congratulations!
Due to the price of primers, warning shots will no longer be given!
That's a nice one! Tell us more......
its a new model vaquero 4 5/8 barrel in 45lc,although my pinky has no where to sit the grip feels real nice and the balance is great
I put my pinky under the grip. You will get used to it, and I think it provides a more stable consistant grip. I can shoot both the plow handle and the bisley accurately, but for heavy loads I prefer the bisley. Make sure you check your throats. I haven’t seen one yet that were correct from the factory. I love my single action Rugers, but they usually take a little tweaking to get them just right.

Nice I hate it when that happens
I have a lot of single action rugers but this is my first big bore with short barrel, most of my others are 7.5 and longer,i do have a few sa and da in 38/357 with 4 5/8 barrel
Very nice...someday I may trade my Redhawk 44 Mag for a 45lc. I love the big bore...but the magnum is hard on my hands...and these hands are getting older now.

ive got that mihec 452 275 wide flatnose mold on order that throws 255gr large hollow points, should be a good fit for this new 45lc
I didn't know that there were revolvers for sale at the fair.... I should have gone.....

Did I ever mention that I hate to trim brass?
well I got to shoot the new 45 this weekend and it shot great, well balance and with a 255gr Winchester it does have to bad of a thump
Yep, the Winchester 255 lead bullet is stated at about 850 FPS. You can go to about 9-950 within colt pressures with that bullet or lymans 454190. Plenty of power for most needs. True that be told I shoot far more lee 45-200 RF at 700 FPS with 700X powder in my colt cowboys with 5 1/2” barrels as that is my cowboy action load and it still knocks cans flying. Oh and very easy on the hands with recoil.
ive got some 200gr rn I cast for a 45acp I think im going to load up for it so my wife can enjoy plinking with it also, its nice having a large caliber that's short so its easy to handle and not so punishing on the hands
It needed a good home! Congrats nice gun

Check and see if a .452" boolit will go through the cylinder throats..
Got a .22 .30 .32 .357 .38 .40 .41 .44 .45 .480 or .500 S&W cylinder that needs throats honed? 9mm, 10mm/40S&W, 45 ACP pistol barrel that won't "plunk" your handloads? 480 Ruger or 475 Linebaugh cylinder that needs the "step" reamed to 6° 30min chamfer?
