    M1 Carbine Magazine question

I have a new reproduction Auto Ordinance M1 Carbine on its way to me and I'm looking to get a few more 15 rnd magazines for it. Been looking online to mixed reviews. Anyone make a suggestion on where to start as to what has worked for you, or what to keep away from? Thanks.

I have a saginaw gear M1 carbine with a winchester barrel. One of the blue sky imports from years back. Used some GI 15 round mags and the Korean 30 round mags. No difference in how they fed or locked up in the mag well. So if you are unsure about them just order a few of each to try out. Frank

+1 on the AIM Korean mags. I've only tried the 30 rounders and they work as well as original GI.

I use u.s mags. got some 30 round Korean made mags they work just as good. look at the mag release if it has a M stamped on it then you are good to go. if not get one that is stamped if you want to use 30 round mags.

I like the 15 round USGI mags the best. They made untold millions of them, and I will pick them up when the cost is reasonable. I have a couple of the Korean 30 round also. They work OK, but I still like the 15 rd better. They fit perfectly in the back pocket of my blue jeans.

The new Korean mags are good. They are made more sturdy than other aftermarket mags. They are marked with a slightly over-sized U. They work well and hold up wel. Plus they are less expensive than the real original GI mags.

I bought some after market 15 rnd mags for Mag Pro.
They worked fine, except they would not holt the bolt open after the last shot like the GI ones do.
Will the Koreans mags hold they bolt open?...dale

Only the thirty round GI mags had a hold open feature, not the 15s. I don't know if the Korean 15s hold the bolt open or not.
