    A day of Retirement

I'm going on my second week of retirement. The first week was catching up on a few projects that I had been putting off until I had time to get to them.
The wife and I decided to ride over the Natchez Trace this morning.
It was a bit more of a ride than she was up to but we had a good time. It was only about 140 miles of riding but we saw some beautiful scenery and visited a few stops along the way.

    Congratulations!

I just retired ten months ago, and find that I'm busier than ever, but now that's with the stuff I want to do, and with the folks I like being around.

Only two and a half years to go!

4 years and 11 days, but who's counting.

Congrats on your retirement! Sounds like you had a great day! I've been retired now for about 10 or 11 years but still keep busy. You'll find that you'll be busy and wonder how you ever had the time to get everything done while you were working. BUT, you'll get them done and like your ride, take the time to do things like that and spend quality time with the wife doing things together - you both deserve and you've earned it! Enjoy and have fun!

Congrats, I did it 18 years ago. Stay busy and it goes by quick. See your Doctor regularly to keep your health up.
