    It almost looks like the Gum wood stocks Winchester used on .22s; but I'm just guessing. It is probably walnut- hard to tell from here. You'll love that Plum Brown finish and it is easy to use.

    After 2 more coats of leather dye and wet sanding now I’ve put 3 coats of watco oil and will be waiting for 2 or 3 days for it to dry then putting another coat or twoClick image for larger version.

    Well I have finished then stock and forearm for the Stevens 14 1/2,I followed the Rogers method and I think it turned out goodClick image for larger version.

    im going to black the trigger and hammer and maybe the block,then brown the barrel and action,it will have all new correct bolts and springs,
