    WTB/WTTF Remington 700 SA STOCK

Looking for a stock for a Remington 700 short action 308 with a heavy contour barrel. Not interested in a houge stock. Prefer thumbhole or target style, but would consider others.

Look for a sendero stock. Mine is a grey with lighter grey dribbles on the stock. Has the bedding block. Will need cheek rest as it shoots well with irons and I always had problems getting good cheek weld. I'm going to glass mine this winter, get one of timney's Calvin Elite two stage triggers **** the cost and find a strap on cheek rest. And maybe shorten the length of pull about 1" I had this done on my sako 75 Hunter and made a huge difference. Frank

How about this one? I put it back in the original wood stock and have this Remington SA Raltree stock just collecting dust.
    If you're interested shoot me a PM. CHEAP!Attachment 228334

I'm not quite sure what you're asking. It's an original Remington stock with heavy barrel channel.Attachment 228386

Ok so it’s not one of the rubberized ones Made by hogue for Remington? Those tend to flex a lot and put pressure on the barrel if used with a bipod

One important thing I did forget to mention is this is an ADL model.
