This has my interest as well. I just bought a hunter in 450 Bushmaster myself.

Full disclosure: never owned one. However, I would think a gas checked Lee 452-300-RF would be pretty awesome in that set up. It would be a real thumper; awesome on whitetail or hogs!
Ultimately though, the gun has to tell you what it likes. Good luck!

I've started a thread on designing a custom bullet for the bushmaster. It's going to be a powder coated bullet around 330gr and designed to fit the bolt action ruger american rifle.

I am looking into a mold for mine. Probably get a custom one. Hard to find a 452 mold 250gr and up thats not going to have a crimp groove. The FTX being used is smooth sided, a bit hard to taper crimp on top of the crimp groove. I tried some 300gr XTP i had under the bench, crimp groove lines up with the end of the case, they did shoot, but want a smooth sided bullet for powder coating.

Have a 250gr LFN from NOE I have not tried yet. If it was a Lee I would ream out the lube and crimp groove, not a $100 mold.

Here is what works in my son's 450 Ruger. The accuracy is pretty good but I have not been able to equal the factory 250 gr with the Flex Tip Hornady load with anything.Attachment 284453Attachment 284454
