    WTS: Mausers and Springfield

Unfortunately I need to repair a storm damaged roof, so these need to find new homes. I can email additional photos to interested parties if needed. I'm not interested in trades at this time. Payment by USPS money order only please. Shipped to your FFL or C&R as applicable from me a private party. Please post an I'll take it followed by a PM.

    1. Custom 338 Win Mag on an Interarms Mark X Mauser action. The barrel is a #5 contour Douglas cut to 24". The rails were sanded/ground for proper feeding before metal finish was done. The stock has a hand rubbed oil finish with a ventilated recoil pad installed. The rifle weighs 8lbs 4oz as it sits and balances right at the front action screw. There are a couple spots on the barrel where finish has marks from being in the safe. A set of RCBS FL 338 Win Mag dies is included. Asking $800 shipped

    2. German 8mm Mauser coded S/137 dated 1937. This rifle was a Russian capture and refinished by them after the war. As is typical of Russian capture K98's the capture screws and cleaning rod are missing. Displays typical finish wear and dings/dents in the stock. Stock and a few other numbers match the receiver other numbers do not. All German proofs/waffenamts are intact and not peened. Bore appears dark with strong ands/grooves could use a good cleaning. Asking $675 shipped

    3. Springfield 1903 produced by Springfield Armory. High serial number 1.2 million range. Metal finish is good shows typical wearing on the sharper edges. Barrel is marked SA 1-24, bore is bright with strong lands/grooves, possibly some pitting in the grooves. Stock has a JFC and RA cartouche. Typical dings and dents found in various places on the stock and hand guard. There is also about a 2" crack on the left side of the toe. Shouldn't take much to repair it. Attached sling is included.
