    Wtb: Parts for a RCBS 505 scale

    Looking to put back into use a RCBS 505 scale.
    It's missing the pan, hanger and the plastic leveling leg.
    Could order them from RCBS, but scale is not worth that much.
    Cheap as possible.
    Have stuff to trade.

    I broke my lid to my vibratory bowl
    And they mailed me a new one free

    RCBS has a history of not charging for parts. When they say "lifetime warranty", they mean it. james

    Can confirm the above, they sent me parts free on that same scale within the last year, wouldn't take money even after I offered it.

    I sent the an email about the parts.
    They sent me the part numbers and prices.
    Don't think I'm going to get them for free.

    By all means call them and talk with a service rep. An E Mail will only get you an automated reply, not a human replying. They have a life time warranty for just things like your needs.Robert
