    Ruger sp101. 32 mag

Hadn't been playing with my 32's much lately and picked one of these up fairly reasonable from a gun shop. It's the one with the 3" heavier barrel with a windage adjustable rear sight .Luck had it that I had a box of fiocchi 32 acp Factory loads in my truck. Went to the little local shooting pit and a Twenty Paces beer cans were in serious Danger.
So last night I found some SAECO 325's and dug out my .32 brass.
Generally just carry my 1903 pocket hammerless Colt and don't shoot it as much as I should but it's looks like I'm going to be back in one of my 32 kicks.

I tried to get one for several years but never could find one in stock. Not that I am envious or anything.

I had a .32 SP101, but sold it because I found it too heavy for pocket carry, so I stick to my Colt .32 NP

I looked for an SP101 for a while myself. I stumbled across this Taurus and I've been using it ever since.

Don't have a photo, but do have a Dan Wesson (stainless) in 32 mag w/ three barrels w/ barrel tool. Also a Ruger BH convertible w/ 32 mag cylinder and 32-20 cylinder (Buckeye model, very limited) and a 32 mag SP100 w/ 3" barrel. And last, a Ruger stainless BH in 327 mag w/ 8 shot cylinder (never shot). Like 32's.

    Revolver Porn Warning!

I have a SP-101 x 4.2" in 327 Federal, and it is growing on me as I continue shooting it. I have a Wolff spring kit for it as well, but haven't installed those yet. The trigger is getting better over time, but at some point an upgrade will occur. Like my S&W Model 16-4 x 6", most of the SP-101's shooting gets done with loads that run the RCBS 32-98-SWC about 900-1000 FPS.
I don't paint bullets. I like Black Rifle Coffee. Sacred cows are always fair game. California is to the United States what Syria is to Russia and North Korea is to China/South Korea/Japan--a Hermit Kingdom detached from the real world and led by delusional maniacs, an economic and social basket case sustained by "foreign" aid so as to not lose military bases.

I been thinking about a SP-101 in 327 mag. I got a BH in the 327mag that have 8 rounds and then had a handi gun made for 327mag . This porn of all this is now getting to me now.

I have an SP 101 just like yours. From personal experience, I can tell you it will handle much higher pressures than factory loads. In fact, I use the same loads in it that are listed at some places for the Ruger Super-Single-Six in .32 H&R Mag. Think of it as a +P .32 Mag. The extra weight of the SP 101 is welcome with those loads. It makes is pleasant to shoot even with the extra power.

Ok, I’ll play... how about a custom recreation of a Model 16-3 and a custom stainless K-frame in 327 Fed Mag? Do they qualify for inclusion here? They sure get included when I think of 32 revolvers. The former is chambered in the original 32 S&W Long so if I want to get wild, I have to go with the stainless gun.

This thread gave me cause to go coonfinger my neglected 32s.

Notice the trigger on the Iver Johnson on the right?

By golly, it’s a Glock safe action trigger! Great trick considering this gun came out almost 100 years before Glock was invented.
    Hmmm
