    TCR83 forend?

I recently picked up a TCR83 w/two barrels, 22 Hornet & 22-250. I'm liking it so much that if I was to find more barrels I just might buy 'em.

Question I have though is whether or not the forend is attached the same on the 87 as it is on the 83?

I've downloaded the disassembly instructions off of Gun Digest, but the clarity of the pictures is such that I can't make out the forend mounting.
Based upon what I've read the barrels are interchangable, and yes, I do know that some barrels should only be used on MAG marked frames.
    Any input would be appreciated.

The fore-ends, like the barrels, are completely interchangeable.

    .

Some TCR-83/TCR-87 forends are not interchangeable - particularly the forends for the 12ga bbl, once available from the old T/C Custom Shop (Fox Ridge Outfitters), and the FE's meant for any optional (Custom Shop) heavy barrel.

True (and I would think, obvious) enough.
My statement dealt with the method of attachment, rather than the barrel channel size, and that is what the OP was asking.
