    cleaned a few rifles and got them ready for hunting season

    bore sighted the new 3x9x40 Nikon on my ruger 44 carbine,leveled the scope and bore sighted the 4x32 marlin scope on my glenfield 30-30,and installed and bore sighted a 3x9x50 Nikon on my browning eclipse hunter 308now theyre all cleaned and ready for oct,20

    well after all the cleaning and bore sighting we got a chance to get on the range and get everything sighted in,my wife doing the honors on the sledClick image for larger version.

    I love it when my wife comes shooting with me, except for the part where she out shoots me. Your wife certainly has it under control. That Nikon on the 308 will let you see well past legal shooting light. Be careful. Those old Japanese Marlin scopes are actually pretty good in my experience. Good hunting to y'all!

    thank you sir,she is for sure a good shot,i have always been a leupold person but here lately weve bought 3 Nikons,1 prostaff,1 prostaff 5 and a black x1000 and have been pleased with them,as far as the marlin,its clear and ill really only be using it in spots ive only got 125 yard shots or less so it should work fine,we also sighted in my 44 carbine with a 3x9x40 Nikon on it and got it down to 1 3/4 5 shot group at 50 yards
