Measure your chamber. Then seat about .002 under what you measure. Easy to do with a dowel or a resized piece of bras that is notched then allows the bullet to slip inside the neck but has enough group it keeps the bullet on extraction. Once you get your dummy round figured out. Crimp it hard and save it for setting up future dies.

The col was probably set for the remington 760 magazine. Try the longest that fits in your magazine without impacting the lands.
