This one will remain in Group Buy Discussions until we hit 12 commitments. We need 25 to put it into last call.

Copy and paste the example and modify to make sure all options are accounted for.

This is a clone of the Hensley & Gibbs #38 30 Designed by 45 2.1, its a VERY proven design. Miha already has the cherry for this one, just need buyers! Cramer-type brass 2-cavity plain base mold that casts in the Hensley & Gibbs #38 profile. This is a 30 cal gas check deep hollowpoint meant for varmint hunting. But with other pin options can be used for almost ANY 30 caliber loads. Shows utility in the 300BO, 30-30, 30 Carbine and 308 and 30-06 Plinkers (Imagine running this behind 13-14 grains of Red Dot in 308)
These cast around 150gr. You will have the option of 0.311" with a 0.300" bore riding section or 0.314" and 0.305". Weights are lubed and gas checked, ready to load.

Would be available in 2 or 4 Cavity Cramer HP, 6-cav Solid Brass, or 8-cav Solid Aluminum. (Choose GC or PB)

Small, Large and Blank Hollow Point Pins available. Will check to see if we can get a Penta or Shallow Penta as the other pin option.

It needs 12 buyers to commit to this thread before it goes active, and 25 buyers gets Miha cutting molds

    Features:

    - Steel sprue plate
    - Hardened steel alignment pins
    - Allen keys are included
    - RCBS/Lyman top punch is included
    - Use MP mold handles or LEE 6 cavity handle (NOT included but you can add for an +$20)
-Sample of sprue lube is included (15ml)

    Weights, ready to load:

Solid 175??? gr PB 170??? gr GC

HP Small 160??? grains Large 150 Grains

    Diameters:
    .311 or .314

Prices are with shipping included, below.

    - 4 Cavity Hollow Point Brass - 135 Euros (114,75 Euros with discount)

Since I have lost everything on this bullet in a computer crash.
I can’t seem to get much info on the bullet again.
And have forgotten some of it.
Did they end up swaging a nose on it like a jacketed bullet in end or is it just. In my head.

Do I need A soft alloy or Lino to expand at subsonic velocities.
Do I really need a gas check to make it shoot good.

I have the 308 hunter bullet with pins and it does nicely but I expect this would really open up.

A few links that work would help me.

I’m thinking of the double cavity pb with all pins and extra c clips as some of mine have gone ping when casting and I couldn’t find the tiny little bugga’s when or where they landed.

    Thnx
    Bruce

This boolit is intended to be cast fairly hard (brittle) and launched at moderate speeds (<200 yard ranges) to induce nearly complete fragmentation on target (less ricochet risk). It has potential for other creative applications, also.

Will the pins fit in my mould 308 hunter hollow point?
Maybe I could just get a long set of pins made from mihec and a few extra c clips.
Would suit me fine for my needs.
    Thnx
