I have a set of springs I put together, that will replace the factory hammer spring in the new Henry single shot rifles. I make no guarantee's that they will work, but they fit in my gun. I take no responsibility for modifications made to your gun. Only one set remains.
Factory spring is about 50#, not confirmed.
This set includes 3 springs, one 31#, one 38#, and one 42#.

One question....Can the spring change be accomplished by just removing the buttstock or does it require fully disassembling the gun?
You only need to remove the stock. You remove the recoil pad, then it's one bolt for the stock. At that point, you can unscrew the spring housing, and replace the spring. It's very easy, and completely reversible.
Well then...Watch for my PM. Went out with it today and it pierced a couple of Win primers with starting loads of Blue Dot. I tried shooting a Smith 29 after shooting the Henry .44. Talk about trigger shock!
