Hello folks,
I do have some trouble to find the propper bullet for my Walther.

It shoots very accurate with jacketed factory ammo, even with the cheapest 124gr. S&B pour package.

But with my cast bullets I view a lack of precision, which resulted lately even in keyholing with some 120 gr. lead and lube-sized bullets.

Now I found out, that the barrel measures around .358" in the edges of the polygon.
I´m factory crimping my case mouthes down to .378" to make them feed properly (chamber is very narrow).
I pulled some bullets now after my first keyholing adventure in my career and measured them at around .356" to .357"

So, next step will be to open up my crimp a bit to find out how far the rounds still feed.

But finally, to make this long story short:

Has anyone of the Q5 owners inhere had good success with cast boolits?

If so, I would be happy to learn something about it.
I will appreciate any infos.

Cheers,
Jay
