    xlox

Want to try this stuff with some lee 105 swc in my 6 shooter and some 200 swc in my 45 acp. Should I expect any leading ?
I would get the 32 oz if you guys say its good stuff...

xlox and Lee alox are both good boolit lubes, however your boolit diameter is going to be the most important thing to avoid leading. Size to .358 for the 105 and .452 for the 45 and you should be OK. I use it with the Lee 105 and Lee 148 WC with very good results. It's a little dirty, but I don't care cause I clean my guns after using them anyway. 32oz will last you until eternity. The biggest mistake I see is that some folks use WAY too much of it. Just a VERY thin coating is all that's needed. Some guys will also thin it with mineral spirits. I use it straight, just very sparingly.

    I second what ShooterAZ said.

Bullet fit is first. No lube will help you if the bullets are undersized.

Then a very, VERY light coat of alox.

For 38 cal bullets I use about 1/2 teaspoon per 100 bullets. And I also thin my alox with a touch of mineral spirits.

I thin my alox 60/40 alox/MS....I apply two VERY thin coats. When they are dry I toss them with a little mica powder to get rid of the stickiness. They get stored that way until I load. I've never gotten any leading up to 1500fps with the 44 mag. But I never went beyond that velocity with the pistol. just an FYI...I pan lube with FWFL for rifle boolets...its good up to about 2000fps.

Yep, I've used alox/xlox with many of my handgun bullets, both T/L design and regular lube grooved. As mentioned above size to fit the gun. I now dip lube as I don't care for the lube on the bullet's nose (I don't like brown noses ). Early on in my casting I largely used wheel weight alloy for my 44 Magnum bullets and lubed many with alox. Not much leading as long as they were sized correctly...

lol don't get 32oz, a little goes a long way! I'm still using up my first 4oz bottle and I've used another for bll.....it works great within reason.
