    Problem with Lee pot

I’ve got a 20# Lee pot and the upper and lower shoulder bolts won’t stay tight that the valve handle slide up and down on. The shoulder bolts:

have coarse threads and just thread into sheet metal and they won’t stay tight. Any idea how to remedy this issue short of brazing them in place?

    Get an RCBS pro-melt.

Might see if going slightly bigger in thread diameter the problem might go away. Sounds like the sheet metal hole is hogged out.

As the link shows, the screws go 'through' the sheet metal, but thread into extruded aluminum chassis. Care must be taken in tightening those threads.

I backed the screw out and stuffed steel wool in the hole and put the screw back in. Holding so far.
Boolits !!!!! Does that mean what I think it do? It do!
