WTB 310 .308 win dies and partial set of .38/.357 dies

I am looking for set of dies for .308 win. I have a partial set of .38/.357 dies but not sure what I have. If anyone has either, I sure could use them. If you want to help me out with identifying the .38/.357 dies I have, I can send some photos to you to help id them. I have not figured out how to upload photos here yet.

Descriptions of die sets are posted here several times, but as a quick review, you need either and universal decapper and a neck sizer (labeled MR for muzzle resizer) or a combination muzzle resizer (CMR) that does both. If you have this die labeled FL it is intended for the TruLine Jr press to full length resize and decap at the same time... this die is not what you want to try to use with a set of tong tools. Next comes the priming chamber (PC) that is obvious as to its purpose. Next comes the die for expanding the case mouth and making a slight bell. Finally, you need a seating die, preferably with a number on the seating plug indicating the nose shape of your desired bullet. So, either a four or five die set, plus of course the adaptor ring to screw into the inside of the tong to guide the case in properly. If you need further info you can run a quick search of this site or send me a PM.

I've responded now via e-mail. As stated, I think you can load 308 with 30-06 dies by simply running them deeper into the tong tool. You seem to need a priming chamber regardless, and of course it is the same for 308 and 30-06.

Well, from the postings here and our PMs/e-mails it appears that Mr rdwarrior is well on his way to being pulled into the tong tool game... looks like we've hooked another one! (Cue evil laugh! )
