Need info on custom molds purchased years ago on this site

About 8-10 years ago I purchased two custom molds in a group buy off of this website. An 8MM (230gr.) and 6.5 (175gr.) caliber double cavity, gas check flat points out of Lee mold blocks. I purchased these to be shot out of military surplus rifles. Just looking for some more info if possible. Attachment 227413

I'm thinking 8mm Karabiner or Maximum, and 6.5mm Cruise Missile.

We would need dimensions to be sure.

Searching the site on those names should get you some load info.
I give loading advice based on my actual results in factory rifles with standard chambers, twist rates and basic accurizing.
My goals for using cast boolits are lots of good, cheap, and reasonably accurate shooting, while avoiding overly tedious loading processes.
The BHN Deformation Formula, and why I don't use it.
How to find and fix sizing die eccentricity problems.
Do you trust your casting thermometer?
    A few musings.

The lee group buys ended when delivery stretched out to over a year in some cases, bad quality forcing many returns, and when you think of it, would you really want Lee to make you a custom mold at additional cost??

The 6.5mm looks like the "Cruise Missle", 8mm was an Oldfeller led group by. I don't remember the name. Big Bertha? Maxine max? Lee would make what ever you wanted for $100 set up fee or 35 molds.

I have the Karabiner mold from midsouth, mine runs a little heavy in COWW alloy, 245gr. Great mold for 8x57mm.

................You may go here on Cast Boolits: http://castpics.net/dpl/index.php/th...y-mold-archive

There is no way that ALL of the "Group Buy", or "Custom" designs are listed there. I think only 2 are listed for the 8mm, and one of those is mine (326-240F). I agree that the one you have must be one of the Midsouth offerings.
