    NOE 432-264-SWC-AT5 4 cavity PB (H&G503)

I am awaiting a new mould: 432-264-SWC-AT5 4 cavity PB (H&G503) to cast for my Ruger SRH and Marlin 1894. Any experience to pass along regarding this mould or loads that you found beneficial for hunting?

    Greetings mcmdphp
We have one but have not filled it up with hot lead as we are trying to use up years worth of old cast slugs.

I do believe that's the same one I have, except mine is aluminum and 2 cavity, with no HP it weighs 275gr as cast, with an alloy of about 2.5%sn/2.5%sb. I load it over a charge of 21.5gr of 296, and it will penetrate any animal on the continent, I am sure of that! I am going to try working the charge up to 21.8, then 22grs, but even with 21.5 it is plenty powerful, and the recoil ain't bad. I am just looking for the sweet spot! I am shooting these out of a ruger super Blackhawk bisley hunter model, my most valuable and favorite gun to date. my sks is a close second. - Travis
