Hf pc gun jar adapter mod

I was doing some googling for the jars for the hf pc gun and found mod that lets you take a Eastwood jar or any jar and use it.

Did not see the instructions on how or where to cut. What I could tell from the pics.

Cut the hf jar inch or two from the threads. Cut a hole in the Eastwood lid with out damaging the threads. Glue them together.

These mod may work with any suitable jar.

    I’ll give it a try.

    It is done.

the bottle is an old American pioneer powder jar I had laying around. fits the eastwood lids just fine.

    3 steps

cut the hf jar inch below the threads

cut the lid to the type jar you want to use (#2 hdpe)

glue the two together (I used hot glue)

I dry tumble 90% of the boolits I do. but I do use my hf gun for other projects

What is really hard to believe is Harbor Freight sells powder in bottles that do not fit their own gun. Not that I use HF powder, but I tried it........... once!
If you use a lot of different powders/colors the Eastwood bottles are cheap in comparison to HF and the Eastwood dual voltage gun does a much better job. Also I have found a number of other plastic bottles used for things like vitamins, etc. that will the Eastwood gun. That's recycling the right way.
