    .480 round balls to try - pure lead for muzzleloader

    I am looking for some .480 round ball if any one has some to part with. The .490 with .10 thous patch won't go down. Barrel mic's at .497-.498. I know Lee makes a 6 banger in the .480 round ball. I'd like to try shooting some before I purchase the Lee mould. Looking for a couple dozen round ball maybe. I have soft lead stick on wheel weights I can trade.

    I found a box of .480 Hornady round ball and ordered them to try. By the time I paid for the ball and paid for the shipping, I've already spent half the money for a Lee 6 banger mould in .480. I called Dixie and they no longer make the scissor type ball moulds they made in the past.....bummer.
