    Ground cherry jam

Tried a pie earlier and it didn't turn out. It was runny and the cherries didn't pop while baking. It was an epic fail.

    So I tried making jam.

I used 6 1/2 cups of ground cherries, 5 cups of sugar, and a tablespoon of lemon juice. I put the cherries in my magic bullet until they were all broke open and mixed up then I added the sugar and lemon juice in a pan and timed it for 15 min after it started boiling.

It tastes great! the seeds aren't hard like raspberry seeds more like sesame seeds. They aren't noticeable.

Good stuff, I'd recommend making it!

It filled 1/2 of of a half gallon jar.
