    Lee auto bench prime

I’m thinking of picking up one of these. Does anyone have one? How well does it work?
    Thanks

I have a couple. I like them a lot. Have a couple RCBS bench mounted primers. The biggest difference is that Lee uses a primer tray and RCBS uses a tube. I much prefer a tray. The price is half or better for the Lee. There are a lot of threads on the Lee Bench Primer. The tray will need attention. May need a shake. Make sure handle fully retuns to the top. Once you figure out bext way to get the tray running you are golden.

My first "trial run" I had 3 OOPS! out of sixty cases primed. I reread the instructions, mounted the tool solidly, allowed (helped) the handle travel it's full swing, and now I get 99.9% good priming (last week out of 100 45 Colt cases primed I had one go in backwards, mainly because I wasn't watching). I do flick the primer tray occasionally to make sure the primers slide down properly, but I normally dump 100 primers in the tray, then prime 100 cases, non-stop...

I have one and I like it a lot. I do prefer the franklin arsenal hand priming tool though. On my Lee bench prime I removed the rubber bumper and do always make sure you operate the handle to the stop on the up stroke.
