Probably the wrong area but when I load in the new QL update will it still have all my custom cartridges in the set up or will it over write and revert me back to square 1/default data?
Thanks,
Greg

Make a copy of the current data filefolder and name it "OLD_XXXXX" **
This PC > Local Disk(C) > Users > Public > Public Documents > Quickload > Data
Let QL update everything to its heart's content. Then rename/copy the files you want back into the MasterQL file as "Custom_XXX.bul", (etc) and pull them up as your default when you open QL again.

(You make that copy of WHOLE data folder to make SURE you have a copy of everything no matter what. . . . )

Thanks. I'll see what my senior brain can do. That's sounds like an elegant way to handle it.
