Slide rule device that determines powder type and weight? Name please.

I have heard of a slide rule type device that gives the operator the correct powder and weight for a given case capacity and bullet diameter. I heard about this device years ago and now I can not remember what it is called. Anyone else heard of this?

Powder selection is limited, but results are reliable.
i I knew Homer when he worked at FA and he was a competent engineer.
In the days before the IBM luggable PC when we ran everthing in Fortran or Colbal his programs were as good as it got.

LOL Hogtamer Not to detract from the post, but wondering if the "young 'uns" would know what a slide rule is? And while speaking of "post" . . . IIRC, my first slide rule was a "Post" brand.

The Powley Computer works very well, though I haven't used mine in years. It came in handy for me in developing jacketed bullet loads for a .375 Whelen Improved.

I learned to use a slide rule in High School (and still use that knowledge to adjust a Lee scale!), but when I tried a Powley Computer, I remember getting lost. Or perhaps I just didn't have enough info to feed the computer...

After Outpost75 told me the name Powley Computer for Handloaders, I googled it. It appears someone set up a free website that a person can enter their parameters and it will give outputs of powder type and weight.

jem102, I did not know Speer had anything similar. Do you know the name of Speer's?
