Hope you are successful with your search for AA compression formed hulls in 16 ga.
I have not been. If you end up with more than you need please let me know.
Also. Claybuster does have an equivalent wad for them.
    Good luck. JS

In reviewing one of my older shotshell reloading books, The Handbook of Shotshell Reloading, by Kenneth W. Couger and Richard Henderson, published by SKR Industries Inc, out of San Angelo, Texas, on page 115, continued reference notes it is stated that the Winchester compression hull, " Is red in color, is loaded in many factory brands. The double AA, Double AA Handicap, Upland, Super Pigon, Super-X, and Super Double-X hulls.

This is a book I purchased back in the early eighties, mine being a copywrite date of 1984. This handbook being produced by Brazos Graphics out of College Station Tx. Might be able to locate a reprint or one on the many forums or aution sites. This one has been very helpful over the many years I've been loading shotshells.

Thanks for the reference. Yes compression formed hulls can be reloaded many times, that's why I like them.

jd, don't have any qualms about the Remington hulls, gun clubs, sts or sure shot. i've loaded lots and lots over the years and my preference is the ones I have components for. In fact the Remington wads provide a superior pattern in my experience than the winchesters.
