    Hand crafted Eastern Style possibles bag

    This bag is made from cow hide and is entirely hand stitched. it has three pockets . The strap is adjustable, and rings and buckle are re purposed from antique harness. Price is $175. I would appreciate payment by USPS money order. I will be posting a couple powder horns that would go nicely with this.

    What material is the strap and is the inside lining suede like feel or rougher leather? Is the outside tanned and treated for water resistance like a Filson? What are the approximate dimensions of the bag and pockets? Any snaps or buckles to keep flap secured? Sorry for all the questions. Nice looking bag.

    The approximate size is 9" wide by 7' tall. The pockets are about 8" wide and 4" deep. Strap material is tightly woven cotton webbing. Inside side of bag is the flesh side of the hide and does have a suede feel, it isn't rough. The outside is not treated. There are no buckles on the flap. The size and weight keeps it in place. The design of this bag is fairly consistent with some early original eastern style bags. It is a good size for a hunting bag. and carries a small to medium size horn well. I use one like this for my Tennessee style flint lock long rifle.
