    Stupid PC question

Sounds stupid, but I was just wondering.
Has anyone done a test to see what color shoots the best????

I wouldn't think that color would change anything. Now I could see where different manufacture's powder could. Hope you are staying dry out there. I was stationed at PTA on the big island in the 90's and hate to see all the damage down in Hilo from this storm.

Honestly I've been PCing for at least 5 years and am still on my first pound of HF red.

I've coated the same bullets both rifle an handgun with powders form four different sources, locally, commercially as well as from Smoke in multiple colors and can't tell one bit of difference in accuracy from any combination I've used.

Can't say I'm on my first pound, but the HF red had been bullet proof, I have other colors from other MFG's and can't tell any difference.. I truly like the PC

I am sticking with Hi-Tek gold for my boolits, but thinking about getting some HR red to coat a lot of my tools that tend to rust here in Conroe Texas. Been spraying WD40 in the drawers of my tool box, trying to keep down the rust. And of course other stuff as well. Dropped one bullet out of the bucket as swirling and found it later. Idea : set it on a firebrick and used a commercial heat gun and it turned Old Gold color pretty quickly. Looked just like the rest of them.

Different color additives could have an effect. Unless you just HAVE to be different, stick to what others have proven to be successful. Reinventing the wheel isn't nearly as easy as it sounds.....
