actually, guys, the ADAPTER on the oil filter can is the registered suppressor. so it is completely legal to toss the filter and replace it.

I believe the ATF says otherwise and require the oil filter to have a serial number as well.

The adapters at one time were registerable. Silly to not just get a real can. Iíve got 3 waiting on Fed approval right now. I guess I need to start PC for the 300 BLK.

I have a trust and a few Form-1 stamps. If you go with a can for cast projectiles, make sure it's something either stainless, or titanium, comes apart and can be soaked in solvent or mild caustic agent (CLR/vinegar/peroxide etc.). It will make cleaning a lot easier.

Finally broke down and ordered my Mystic "X" I was kinda waiting on the HPA but I knew I was hurting the companies by waiting for it too.....its worth the tax stamp to me now to maybe have a simpler/faster process in the future. I'm glad I finally got one started....now the wait.....But I have my ptr mp5 to keep me company until the stamp gets approved....then I can run that suppressed as well heheheh.
