Who runs Dillon 1050 with Ammobot automation?

I was thinking of starting a group for the Dillon 1050 with Ammobot automation to help out anyone who might be having any issues as nothing in the group section popped up when I searched..

I am going to create the group right now if anyone would like to join.

I have been running an Super 1050 with an Ammobot for some time now. I upgraded to the Rev2 as soon as it came out. I see there is a new Rev 3 with a much improved motor-drive, but my current setup does everything I need it to do so for me it is not worth the upgrade.

I have loaded over 100K rounds of 9mm and processed over 200K of 9mm brass. I have only had a single issue with the Ammobot drive itself (a stripped keyway on one of the shafts) and Ammobot fixed it for free. I have replaced minor parts on the Dillon press itself. But I am OK with that since it is really working outside of its designer's intent.

Some upgrades I have found that work great:
Level 10 Innovations Toolhead Spring & Bushing
Level 10 Innovations Enhanced Delrin Cam and Casefeed Roller
Level 10 Innovations Upgraded Custom Casefeed Plunger
Level 10 Innovations Specialty Guide Rod Kit for Dillon
    F&FB Heavy Duty Index Pawl
    F&FB 9mm / .38 Super Heavy Duty Shell Plate
Reloading Innovations Premium Bearing Kit and Spill Control Solution
Everglades Ammunition Primer Hold Down Die

What I really like is how simple the Ammobot drive is and it requires a minimal amount of sensors or tweaking to keep running. While it can run much faster, my sweet-spot loading 9mm is around 1500 rounds per hour. I can keep the primer tubes, case feeder and Mr. Bullet-feeder topped up, yet still maintain quality control checks.

Its amazing how many "friends" you suddenly have at the USPSA club when they find out you have an auto drive.....

As soon as i save up another $3k i am switching both my machines over to the Rev 3. That thing is super quite and can run more programming.

Side note, I dont know how to invite people to the group yet as im pretty new to this site. Just go to my profile page and you will see groups on the side. Join from there.

LMAO...I use all those parts for upgrades as well. The only issue Ive ever had with my presses is the threaded rod from the step motor counting selenoid snapping if I forget to tighten down before i start...or when my machines are running for the whole day and it works itself loose.

Lets all start posting on the group and see if we have any more Ammobot fans out there!
