    Leverevolutiin equiv. for 30,30 loads?

I can't find lev-ev anywhere near me. Does anyone have a substute powder, or other fav. powder for their 30.30 cast boolits load? Thanks, Bruce.

There is no substitute for Leverevolution. Its formulation is unique and delays peak pressure to essentially overcome brass weakness, delivering about 100 -150 FPS over max loads with jacketed bullets.

The good news is that there are far better powders for cast boolits in the 30-30, among them IMR4227, 2400, and Red Dot.

LeverE works fine with GC cast boolits. It is very good for 30/30 & 308 marlin, but not a general use powder. 3031, 4895, 335, varget also work for full power loads. For light loads, 2400 or unique. You might try powder vally when they have free hazmat.
    Whatever!

IMR 3031 is my favorite powder for full power, Unique and Red Dot for magnum handgun power level, and Bullseye for fun plinking loads. Lots of other good powders out there for the good old 30-30.
