I'm going through the box tonight and getting ready to pack it up. I have a few stainless steel hexagonal rods. They are threaded 8-32 on the ends and I use some to screw brass prep tools into so I can Chuck them in a drill. This is so I don't bugger up the threads on the tools. Anyone think those would be good to add to the box? Anyone think they would use something like that? Tools not included but here's a picture so you can see what I mean.

I think it's an interesting Do-hicky. A few in the box could get some usage reviews. Try it we might like them.

Cool. I just wasn't sure how many of you guys might Chuck manual tools into a drill for things like primer reaming, cleaning, uniforming, and all that jazz. I'll get a list together after work.

I don't use case tools in a drill but I often use a short length of cleaning rod to spin brushes and mops.

Kinda messed up a little. I opened the box in front of my wife. She immediately saw the turnequet and wanted to know what I bought. I explained what it was and what the box was. Well, she claimed the wireless radios and the turnequet for her prepping stuff... tried to refill the box as best I could but don't have anything else small enough to fit.

Also, I included a few repack ammo boxes. If you don't know what these are I recommend checking out the repackbox.com website. I've got them for several calibers and like them. Take em if you can use em.

You know the drill. "I can use it" gets it.

    What's left in the box:

    Lyman 220 Swift dies

B-Square “No gun smith” scope mount for Ruger 22 pistol with bull barrel

Volquartsen comp for Ruger 22 Pistol with bull barrel

Ruger MKII 22 pistol factory grips

Pachmayr grips for Ruger Red Hawk

B-Square “No Gun Smith” scope mount for 1911

Lyman 350 ball mould (found in box but not listed)

Wetherby( pacific I think) 270 wetherby die set new

Steel 44 mag Rcbs die set

50 cal Ammo can to keep the dies safe till it lands next.

One large priming arm for Lyman truline press

    One set scope rings

Lee .41 LC case trimmer pilot and shell holder

    RCBS bench primer handle

Lee 270 RGB 2 die set

RCBS .221 Rem die set no box

11 rd Norma 6.5 Jap brass

lithium ion rechargeable tactical flashlight battery and charger

    Red gun lock

21 pcs. 450 Marlin brass, Hornady head stamp

    25 pcs. 458 Socom brass

~ 100 Winchester 45 Colt brass cut to Schofield length, used to shoot these in a Trapper to get 10 rounds in the magazine, gun’s gone, don’t need short brass anymore.

4 pewter ingots “round medallions” one plus pound of pewter total.

20+ stripper clips 223 for ar mags.

8 M1 Garand clips now taped together

RCBS Lube Pad, with tube of case lube

    50pcs Lee .358-158 RF, as cast from 50/50 COWW/Pb

    What I took:

    elastic butt cuff shell holder

    Midland hunting radios

    tourniquet

    Eagle .308 Die Set

    Wells 22-250 dies

    What I added:

    7.62x54 stuck case remover

2 steel hexagonal rods for attaching 8-32 threaded cleaning and brass prep supplies to a drill without damaging threads.

    10x 45acp repack ammo boxes

    Wood load block (Midway, #5 - 308, 30-06, 45acp)

AK mag. Floor plate is a little rusty. Has sat around since I sold my AK years ago.

Remington choke wrench for 12, 16, and 20

    AR 2 piece handguard

    20 Rd plastic ammo box

Lee 6.5x284 case length gauge for trimmer

Lee .357 bullet sizing die - no pushing rod, just the sizing body

2x Lee old style round primer trays for presses or hand primers

Some internal measuring device. Not exactly sure what it's called but used to transfer or verify measurements. It's like a caliper but doesn't have a readout on it. Kinda like a compass. Picture below.

That's what I thought but kept second guessing myself. I know what they're for and have used them before doing wood work on a lathe. Hope someone can use it.

    Hold the phone!

I'm packing this box back up and realizing I need a new box... I'm also realizing the 20rd plastic ammo box just isn't fitting. I'll try to Jenga it in again when I get another box but it might have to be left out.

    BUT!

I forgot I had put 3 small bags of green powder coat in the box as well. They aren't much but at least enough to do a more than a few thousand in each bag. So those will be in there for sure. I'll edit my earlier post and add everything else I've added all in one list to make it easier to copy and paste.

I was wondering if we pick up a new box or not each time. Not an issue to do so.

Yes, replace the box as needed. We don’t want any of the contents to escape the travel thru the U.S.P.S. mail system.

Though it would be comical to imagine the powder coat powder getting out and them getting pissed about it... Though I'm sure they would just throw the whole thing away at that point probably.

Aw don't be the fun police. It was all just funny jokes. I'm not really looking to cause problems for anyone. The box went out late due to me forgetting g all about the darn thing. Went to the range Saturday with my new chronograph and just plain forgot all about the box. It should be arriving at Al's place today. Just got another one in the mail last night to stuff more goodies into but ran out of room so I have to go back and think about what people might use the most in that box.

Powder coat survived. The case lube did not. I think maybe the heat from the truck trailer got to it and the tube ruptured. Thank god it was in the ammo can. I'll get everything cleaned up then when my wrist feels better.

Delay on cleaning up the items. I have a infection in my wrist. I went to the er last night. They ran an IV antibiotic. And gave a me a prescription for keflex. Hopefully it kicks in soon. My right hand and forearm is pretty puffed up.
